his last class is only 'til 12 so he came over after. may baon na namang vcds. wala naman kaming natapos o naintindihan kahit isa. haha! kase naman...

i baked him chocolate chip cake bars (yun daw tawag dun sabi sa recipe e) 'cause i'm such a sweet, caring and loving girlfriend *expecting raised eyebrows at this point* hahaha! oh, and 'cause the dough mix was about to expire. STIR!!! hekhek! i just bought that last weekend especially for him (nakanams) and i did check the expiry date on it (middle of 2007 pa naman). it was my first time with cake bars and only my second baking experience so erm.. medyo sumablay >.< ehehe.. but he loved it. :) he finished like half of it. haha! masarap naman e, pumalya lang dun sa chocolate toppings dahil ayaw matunaw at ma-spread nung chocolate chips. grrr! anyway, it's the love put into making it that counts, yeah? hekhek! *wink*

today, we paid homage to Starbucks Paseo. at last, nagbukas rin! matagal-tagal rin kaming naghintay. actually, it opened weeks ago and we were supposed to go there for breakfast last weekend but didn't. sudden change of plans. you know my mom.

in fairness, ang laki nung place. nice for passing time and chilling with friends or in my case, having breakfast with the family since my friends aren't exactly the sit-down-have-coffee-and-chat type. tito Gary, my mom, Gabo and i ate upstairs (o diba an taray, may 2nd floor pa) as Pei-Pei ran around with a straw and a paper cup in hand, shouting words that none of us could understand and screaming to her heart's content. the usual morning bonding with the family. may little KJ moments nga lang.. medyo nainis sa utol kong forever pasaway.. what's new?? i, however, managed to stay on her good side today. whew!

ever heard of anyone who got drunk from having too much grapes? i just ate like 3 dozens in one sitting and it feels like world war 3 inside of me. now i'm all red and hot -ganito ako pag lasing e. erm, is it just me or is the room spinning? God, i never wanna see another grape again! what are you laughing at?! i'm sober!

OK, change topic.. it's Ange's birthday! and forgetful as i am, i did remember to greet her. thru text nga lang. she didn't reply though so i don't really know if she got it or if the number i sent the message to is the one she's still using. oh well, we'll be seeing each other on Saturday anyway (ops, assuming!) she's having a birthday/graduation party at her place Saturday night for former BelAir classmates and friends. and since I am a [proud] Belerian, i'm there! ops, assuming na naman oh.. anyway.. i'm taking Rod with me. that is IF we are going. hekhek! i already told my mom 'bout it this morning and i'm assuming i can go since she didn't say otherwise. and Rod already asked his mom RE our transpo. and as of now, we are both still on assume mode. we gots our fingers crossed! ;P

and for those who don't know, Ange will not be the only one celebrating that night. on Saturday, that's the 28th, will be our 6th month together. akalain niyo?! cheers to that! ;D

i've had this cough since Monday before last and it wasn't until this afternoon that i finally went to a pulmonologist for a check-up. putting things off again, are we? tsk! tsk! tsk! di naman pala mashadong serious. the doc prescribed an antiobiotic (a rather expensive one. 800 bucks for 3 tablets?! ayayay!) for my cough and a decongestant which i'm supposed to take for 3 days. my worries that this might be dengue bade me farewell. all this time i thought i was dying. pero totoo pala yung kasabihan na ang masamang damo, matagal mamatay. hahaha! my mom and i stuffed ourselves with cheeseburger, sundae and fries to celebrate my newfound peace of mind -stupid, stupid! i didn't realize 'til now that i'd misspelled "peace" and typed "piece" haha! what an idiot!

evening came... i was in my room, trying to find a new layout for my LJ, when my brother called me. tawag daw ako ni Mama. cheery-cheery pa yung "yes?" ko. who could've guessed na sermon pala ang isasalubong sa 'kin? she's pissed 'cause the bathroom door-mat is all dirty. pinapasok ko daw kse yung tsinelas ko sa banyo tas ipupunas ko dun paglabas ko. erm, remind me again what a door-mat is for.

it's "funny" how a sermon about using your slippers inside the bathroom could (surprisingly) lead to how messy your room is (she probably forgot that she, too, contributes to the mess in my room).. to how little you care for your family -now this one's a bit of a shocker. haller?! koneksyon?? lahat na lang ata e dadalhin niya sa "issue" na 'to.. to that pathetic apology letter you wrote way back in high school RE the JS prom -DON'T ASK! desperate times call for desperate measures, ika nga.

what you thought would only take a few minutes could actually last an hour (or longer in worse scenarios). my head was aching like hell, i was in tears from holding back yawns and i felt like i was gonna collapse any minute -more like wanted to, really (or maybe i just had too much for dinner. hekhek!).. i remember imagining how she'd react if i suddenly fell to the floor. i also remember laughing (in my head) upon seeing her face at that moment. haha!

i swear, i wanted to scream my lungs out or grab my hair and bang my head on the wall a couple of times. anything to make her stop! dinaig pa ang pari! paulit-ulit na lang naman yung mga sinasabi niya, can't she give it a break already?! sheesh! like what him always says, "SOLID EH!" anyway, she must've noticed i was getting bored. the constant scratching of body parts, coughing and weight shifting from one foot to the other (i was standing the whole time, mind you) must have given me away. natakot pa nga ako, baka lalo niyang patagalin just to torture me more. pero awa ng Diyos, di naman. she FINALLY ended with these words, "pag-isipan mo..." and turned her back at me, which translates to sige, makakaalis ka na. shet, teleserye effect?! at talagang may ... sa huli.

i got a visit from him today. i've been sick for the last 10 days -ubo, sipon, headaches, pabalik-balik na fever (i haven't had a check-up yet and i fear this might be dengue. noooo!!!) which means no going out for me. so he came over instead. aw.. *kilig* and with pasalubong, too! yey! special request ng batang matigas ang ulo: strawberry donuts and cadbury dairy milk! ;D kamusta naman, bawal nga ang matamis e! tsk! tsk! tsk! nagdala rin sya ng vcds para di naman kame masyadong mabagot dito sa bahay. at last, napanood ko na yung Butterfly Effect at utot lang yung sequel! trivia : him likes fafa Ashton, but not as much as he likes Nicolas "Panot" Cage. he also showed me this music video that he and his friends made back in their masscomm years. i forgot what song it was, basta medyo senti by Kinkyhooters. seryoso yung video pero laugh trip, feel na feel ng mga mokong! an taba pa nga ni him dun e! 'kala mo sya talaga yung nag gigitara. nyahaha!!

so ayun, movie trip while munching on donuts and chocolate plus the usual kulitan and tawanan. i even got meself a head and back massage (an sarap nya magmasahe, pramis!) in exchange for tweezing his eyebrows. oh, the things we do for each other. hahaha!

he was supposed to go back to school at 2 p.m. but decided not to. did you stay coz you wanted to be with me longer o tinamad ka lang pumasok? haha! at mukhang good mood nanay at tatay niya, di sya kinukulit umuwi so he stayed 'til 7. happy, happy, happy.. i got to spend the whole afternoon with my daddie :) i just hope he doesn't catch whatever it is that i have or we'd be "barking" together. oh well, in sickness and in health nga, di ba? hahaha!
